OFFICIAL RULES AND TERMS & CONDITIONS
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE, AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS APPLY.
The Popejoy Generac Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is sponsored by Popejoy Plumbing, Heating, Electric, & Septic ("Popejoy" or "Sponsor") and promoted in partnership with Great Plains Media, Inc. and its participating radio stations.
By entering the Giveaway, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Sponsor regarding the Giveaway, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway.
1. Promotion Period and Entry Period
Promotional advertising for the Giveaway begins on September 12, 2026.
The period during which eligible entries may be submitted (the "Entry Period") begins at 12:00 a.m. Central Time on September 14, 2026 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Central Time on October 6, 2026.
Entries received before or after the Entry Period will not be eligible.
2. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to legal U.S. residents who:
• are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry;
• own the residence where the generator would be installed;
• use that residence as their primary residence; and
• have an eligible residential property located within one of the qualifying Illinois communities listed below.
Eligible communities include:

The Giveaway is for residential properties only. Commercial properties and commercial installations are not eligible.
Employees, officers, directors, representatives, and agents of Popejoy, Great Plains Media, Inc., the participating Great Plains Media radio stations, INSPYR, and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related entities, advertising and promotional agencies, prize providers, and promotional partners, as well as members of their immediate families and households, are not eligible to enter or win.
For purposes of these Official Rules, "immediate family" includes spouses, parents, stepparents, siblings, stepsiblings, children, and stepchildren. "Household members" means individuals who share the same residence for at least three (3) months during the year.
Eligibility is subject to verification by Sponsor. Void where prohibited by law.
3. How to Enter
During the Entry Period, eligible individuals may enter through the official online Giveaway entry form or by texting the keyword "POWER" to 309-862-1070.
Entrants who use the text-entry method will receive an automated reply containing a URL link to the official Giveaway entry form. The same official entry form may also be made available directly through Popejoy and/or participating Great Plains Media websites.
To enter, an eligible entrant must complete and successfully submit the official entry form during the Entry Period. The form will request the entrant's full name, ZIP code, phone number, and confirmation of homeownership. No email address is required.
Entrants must provide complete and accurate information. Incomplete, inaccurate, fraudulent, duplicate, late, or otherwise noncompliant entries may be disqualified.
Standard message and data rates may apply to text messages depending upon the entrant's wireless carrier and service plan.
No purchase or payment is required to enter or win.
Phone and Text Marketing Consent. By submitting the official entry form, the entrant expressly agrees to receive promotional and marketing telephone calls and text messages from Popejoy Plumbing, Heating, Electric, & Septic at the telephone number provided, including communications that may be made using automated technology or prerecorded/artificial voice where permitted by law. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency may vary. Reply STOP to a marketing text message to opt out and HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services. Marketing communications are subject to applicable law and any additional disclosures presented on the entry form.
4. Entry Limit
Limit one (1) entry per person during the entire Entry Period.
Only the first valid entry received from an eligible individual will be considered.
Any individual who submits or attempts to submit more than one entry may have all additional entries declared void. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who attempts to obtain multiple entries through multiple names, phone numbers, accounts, identities, registrations, or any other method intended to circumvent the one-entry-per-person limitation.
5. Winner Selection
One (1) potential winner will be selected by Great Plains Media, Inc. through a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The random drawing will take place on or before October 9, 2026.
The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries received.
The person selected will initially be considered a potential winner and will not become the official winner until eligibility, homeownership, property requirements, and compliance with these Official Rules have been verified.
If a selected potential winner cannot be reached, does not respond within the required period, is determined to be ineligible, declines the prize, fails to provide required information, or otherwise fails to satisfy these Official Rules, Great Plains Media may randomly select an alternate potential winner. This process may continue until an eligible potential winner is confirmed.
6. Winner Notification, Verification, Reveal, and Announcement
Following the drawing, Great Plains Media, Inc. will make the initial contact with the randomly selected potential winner using the telephone number submitted with the entry.
The potential winner must respond to the initial notification within three (3) business days. If Great Plains Media is unable to reach the selected potential winner within that period, or if the potential winner fails to respond, declines the prize, or is determined to be ineligible, another potential winner may be randomly selected. This process may continue until an eligible potential winner is confirmed.
Before a potential winner is publicly announced, Sponsor and/or Great Plains Media may verify the potential winner's identity, age, residency, ZIP code, homeownership, qualifying property location, and other eligibility requirements. Sponsor may also review publicly available property information and conduct other reasonable preliminary screening to determine whether the residence appears capable of meeting the Giveaway's installation requirements.
Following preliminary verification, Popejoy will contact the potential winner to coordinate a suitable date and time for the winner reveal and related promotional activities. Popejoy, Great Plains Media, Inc., and INSPYR may attend the winner's residence for the purpose of conducting, photographing, recording, and/or filming the winner reveal, subject to any reasonably required publicity or location release.
The official winner will be publicly announced on or before October 16, 2026. The parties presently intend to conduct the winner reveal on or about Friday, October 16, 2026, subject to successful verification, scheduling, property suitability, and other reasonable considerations.
If information discovered during the verification or pre-screening process causes the potential winner or residence to be determined ineligible, the potential winner may be disqualified and another potential winner may be selected.
7. Prize Description
One (1) eligible winner will receive a residential Whole-Home Standby Generator System and related prize package, including qualifying standard installation, subject to all terms, limitations, site conditions, and installation requirements contained in these Official Rules.
Subject to the required site evaluation and all limitations in these Official Rules, the prize package includes:
• one (1) Generac whole-home standby generator, professionally sized for the winning residence, up to a maximum capacity of 22kW;
• one (1) whole-home automatic transfer switch, rated up to 200 amps;
• professional standard installation, standard installation materials, and standard follow-up services;
• one (1) concrete generator pad;
• one (1) whole-home surge protector;
• a ten (10) year parts and labor warranty, subject to applicable warranty terms, registration requirements, exclusions, and conditions;
• one (1) cellular monitoring accessory, subject to cellular coverage and equipment compatibility;
• the first year of remote monitoring service; and
• the first year of qualifying generator maintenance.
The generator is intended to provide standby power for major residential systems and appliances, which may include heating and cooling equipment, lighting, refrigeration, and other household electrical loads.
The warranty, monitoring, maintenance, installation, and related prize services are provided or administered by Popejoy, subject to applicable manufacturer requirements, warranty terms, equipment requirements, site conditions, and these Official Rules.
8. Generator Sizing and Upgrades
The exact generator size will be determined by Popejoy following a required site evaluation and electrical load assessment of the winning residence.
Popejoy will determine the generator size and equipment reasonably appropriate for the residence based upon professional judgment, applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, electrical load, fuel supply, utility requirements, and site conditions.
If the winning residence requires a generator smaller than 22kW, Popejoy will provide and install the appropriately sized generator. If a generator smaller than 22kW is installed, the winner will not receive the difference in value in cash, credit, additional equipment, services, or any other form of compensation.
If the winner requests a generator larger than 22kW, or if the residence requires equipment exceeding the prize specifications, the winner may elect to upgrade by paying the difference in equipment, materials, labor, and other applicable costs. Any upgrade is subject to Popejoy approval, equipment availability, applicable codes, manufacturer requirements, and site conditions.
9. Automatic Transfer Switch
The prize includes one (1) whole-home automatic transfer switch rated up to 200 amps, provided such equipment is appropriate for the winning residence.
Certain residences may require more than one transfer switch or additional electrical equipment. For example, a residence with a 320-amp electrical service may require two transfer switches.
Any additional automatic transfer switch, electrical equipment, materials, modifications, labor, or associated installation costs beyond the one transfer switch included with the prize will be the sole responsibility of the winner/homeowner.
10. Property Ownership and Residential Requirements
The winner must be the legal owner of the residence where the generator will be installed and must have legal authority to authorize all work associated with the installation.
The residence must be the winner's primary residence and must be located within an eligible community specified in these Official Rules.
The prize is not available for installation at a commercial property, a rental property not owned by the winner, or another property that does not satisfy these eligibility requirements.
The generator may only be installed at a property that Popejoy determines, in its reasonable professional judgment, is suitable for installation.
11. Required Site Evaluation
A site evaluation of the winning residence is required before equipment is ordered and installation is scheduled.
The site evaluation may include, without limitation, an assessment of:
• electrical service and electrical load;
• electrical panel configuration;
• generator placement;
• manufacturer-required and code-required clearances;
• natural gas or propane availability;
• fuel supply capacity;
• automatic transfer switch requirements;
• utility requirements;
• permitting and inspection requirements;
• building, electrical, gas, mechanical, and safety codes;
• existing property conditions; and
• any other condition affecting the safe and lawful installation and operation of the generator.
Final generator sizing, equipment selection, installation location, installation method, and related electrical, gas, mechanical, and other installation requirements will be determined by Popejoy following the site evaluation.
12. Natural Gas, Propane, and Fuel Requirements
The prize does not include establishing new natural gas, propane, or other fuel utility service at the winning residence unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by Popejoy.
If the winning residence does not currently have adequate natural gas service, or if the applicable utility requires installation, replacement, relocation, or upgrade of a gas meter, gas service line, regulator, or other related equipment, all such additional costs will be the responsibility of the winner/homeowner.
If propane service or propane-related equipment is required, costs not expressly included in the standard prize installation will likewise be the responsibility of the winner.
Fees or charges assessed directly by a gas utility, propane provider, electric utility, municipality, governmental authority, or other third party are not included in the prize unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.
13. Additional Work and Costs Not Included
Unless expressly stated as included in these Official Rules, the winner is responsible for costs associated with property conditions, equipment requirements, upgrades, repairs, or improvements beyond the standard generator package and qualifying installation included with the prize.
Additional costs may include, without limitation:
• generator capacity above 22kW;
• additional automatic transfer switches;
• electrical service upgrades;
• electrical panel upgrades;
• gas meter upgrades;
• gas service upgrades;
• establishment of new natural gas or propane service;
• additional fuel system equipment;
• unusual or non-standard trenching or excavation;
• concrete work or site preparation beyond the included standard generator pad and standard installation;
• landscaping, grading, or property restoration;
• relocation of existing utilities or equipment;
• structural modifications;
• correction of pre-existing code violations;
• correction of unsafe or non-compliant electrical, gas, mechanical, or structural conditions;
• utility company charges;
• special permitting or inspection requirements; and
• other non-standard labor, equipment, or materials required because of the conditions of the winning property.
If Popejoy determines that additional work, equipment, upgrades, corrections, or modifications are required, the applicable additional costs will be disclosed to the winner before chargeable additional work is performed. No additional chargeable work will be performed by Popejoy without authorization from the winner/homeowner.
14. Approximate Retail Value
The Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the complete prize package is approximately Sixteen Thousand Dollars ($16,000).
The advertised ARV is based upon the estimated value of a typical qualifying installation and includes the appropriately sized Generac whole-home standby generator up to 22kW, one automatic transfer switch up to 200 amps, qualifying standard installation labor and materials, concrete generator pad, whole-home surge protector, applicable ten-year parts and labor warranty, cellular monitoring accessory, first-year remote monitoring, and first-year qualifying maintenance.
The actual retail value may vary depending upon generator size, equipment selected, installation requirements, material and labor costs, site conditions, and other property-specific factors.
If the actual value of the generator and qualifying installation is less than the advertised ARV, the winner will not receive the difference in cash, credit, equipment, additional services, refund, or any other form of compensation.
15. No Cash Redemption, Transfer, or Substitution
The prize has no cash redemption value.
The winner may not sell, transfer, assign, substitute, or exchange the prize except with the express written consent of Sponsor.
No cash, refund, credit, or other compensation will be provided for any unused portion of the prize. The prize applies only to the eligible winning residence approved by Popejoy and may not be transferred to another person or property without Popejoy's written approval.
16. Installation Approval, Scheduling, and Target Completion Date
Installation is contingent upon:
• satisfactory completion of the required site evaluation;
• availability of appropriate equipment and materials;
• receipt of required permits and inspections;
• required utility approvals;
• reasonable access to the property;
• suitable weather and site conditions;
• completion of any required homeowner-paid upgrades or corrections; and
• Popejoy's determination that installation can be completed safely, legally, and in accordance with applicable codes and manufacturer requirements.
Following successful completion of the required site evaluation and all installation prerequisites, Popejoy intends to complete installation of the prize on or before December 18, 2026.
If installation cannot reasonably be completed by December 18, 2026 because of permitting or inspection delays, utility requirements, weather, equipment or material availability, required homeowner improvements, site conditions, winner availability or cooperation, or other circumstances reasonably outside Popejoy's control, Popejoy will work with the winner to complete installation on the earliest reasonably available date.
Popejoy reserves the right to decline, modify, postpone, or impose reasonable additional requirements on an installation if property conditions make installation unsafe, unlawful, impractical, inconsistent with applicable manufacturer requirements, or materially different from the standard installation contemplated by the prize.
17. Taxes
All federal, state, and local taxes, fees, assessments, or other tax liabilities resulting from acceptance or receipt of the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The winner may be required to provide a valid taxpayer identification number and complete applicable tax documentation, including an IRS Form W-9, as required by law. Sponsor may issue the winner an IRS Form 1099 or other applicable tax document reflecting the reportable value of the prize.

Great Plains Media, Inc. and its participating stations are promotional partners of the Giveaway.

References in these Official Rules to "Great Plains Media Stations" include the foregoing stations and any other radio station owned, operated, managed, or controlled by Great Plains Media, Inc. that participates in promoting the Giveaway.
Great Plains Media, Inc. and the Great Plains Media Stations are promotional partners only and are not the provider, seller, manufacturer, installer, or servicer of the generator prize.
19. Released Parties; Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, by entering the Giveaway each entrant agrees to release and hold harmless Popejoy Plumbing, Heating, Electric, & Septic; Great Plains Media, Inc.; 107.7 & 92.1 The Bull (WIBL-FM/W221CY); Cities 92.9 (WRPW-FM); Magic 99.5 (WZIM-FM); 97.9 BOB FM (WBBE-FM); INSPYR; and each of their respective parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related entities, owners, members, shareholders, officers, directors, employees, agents, representatives, advertising and promotional agencies, promotional partners, successors, and assigns (collectively, the "Released Parties"), from and against claims, demands, causes of action, liabilities, damages, losses, injuries, property damage, costs, or expenses arising out of or relating to participation in the Giveaway or, to the extent permitted by law, acceptance, possession, use, misuse, installation, operation, servicing, maintenance, or performance of the prize.
Nothing in these Official Rules is intended to waive or limit any liability, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived or limited.
20. Great Plains Media and Station Disclaimer
Great Plains Media, Inc. and the Great Plains Media Stations are not responsible for the selection, sizing, manufacture, sale, delivery, installation, connection, performance, operation, maintenance, warranty, repair, replacement, or servicing of the generator, automatic transfer switch, fuel system, electrical equipment, or related products and services.
Generator equipment, site evaluations, sizing, installation work, and related services are provided or coordinated by Popejoy, subject to these Official Rules.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Great Plains Media, Inc. and the Great Plains Media Stations make no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding:
• the generator or related equipment;
• installation services;
• merchantability;
• fitness for a particular purpose;
• performance or operation of the equipment;
• continued availability of equipment;
• suitability of the winning residence; or
• the costs associated with preparing a particular residence for installation.
Great Plains Media, Inc. and the Great Plains Media Stations are not responsible for additional costs incurred by the winner relating to the prize, including generator upgrades, additional transfer switches, electrical upgrades, gas service or meter upgrades, propane service, utility work, property modifications, permits, code corrections, taxes, maintenance, or repairs.
21. Publicity, Recording, and Winner Reveal
Except where prohibited by law, acceptance of the prize constitutes the winner's permission for Sponsor and its promotional and production partners, including Great Plains Media, Inc., the participating Great Plains Media Stations, and INSPYR, to use the winner's name, city of residence, photograph, likeness, voice, statements regarding the Giveaway, and images or recordings captured in connection with the winner reveal for reasonable advertising, promotional, publicity, and marketing purposes related to the Giveaway without additional compensation, subject to applicable law.
The winner may be required to execute a reasonable publicity, photo/video, and/or location release in connection with filming or photographing the winner reveal at the winner's residence.
22. General Conditions and Disqualification
Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and the suitability of the winning residence.
The winner must reasonably cooperate with the eligibility review, site evaluation, permitting process, utility coordination, installation scheduling, winner-reveal scheduling, and other requirements necessary to administer the Giveaway and complete installation.
Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:
• provides false, inaccurate, or misleading information;
• attempts to submit more than one entry;
• tampers with or manipulates the entry process;
• uses fraudulent or deceptive methods to enter;
• interferes with the administration of the Giveaway;
• fails to satisfy eligibility or property requirements; or
• otherwise violates these Official Rules.
Sponsor reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Giveaway if fraud, technical failures, natural disaster, governmental action, equipment failure, or any other event beyond Sponsor's reasonable control materially affects the integrity or proper administration of the Giveaway.
23. Equipment and Installation Decisions
All generator sizing, equipment selection, installation methods, placement, electrical work, gas or fuel requirements, and final installation requirements will be determined by Popejoy based upon professional judgment, applicable codes and regulations, manufacturer instructions, utility requirements, safety considerations, and conditions at the winning residence.
Nothing in the advertising or promotion of the Giveaway guarantees that a 22kW generator will be appropriate for a particular residence or that every appliance, electrical circuit, or system in the residence will operate simultaneously during generator use.
24. Entry Information and Administration
Information submitted through the official entry form may be collected, accessed, and shared by Popejoy, Great Plains Media, Inc., participating Great Plains Media Stations, INSPYR, and their authorized service providers as reasonably necessary to administer the Giveaway, verify eligibility, contact potential winners, coordinate the winner reveal, award and install the prize, and carry out the promotional activities described in these Official Rules.
Marketing telephone calls and text messages from Popejoy are governed by the consent disclosure provided in Section 3 and any additional disclosure displayed on the official entry form.
25. Governing Law
The Giveaway and these Official Rules shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where otherwise required by applicable law.

28. Acceptance of Official Rules
Participation in the Giveaway constitutes each entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions relating to the administration of the Giveaway.
Winning and receiving the prize are contingent upon satisfaction of all requirements contained in these Official Rules.
